SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE @3:30 a.m.
Several firefighters responded to a house fire in Springfield early Thursday morning.

Springfield firefighters and officers responded just after 1:10 a.m. to the 400 block of E. Grand Avenue on initial reports of a house fire.

Video and pictures from the scene show smoke from the back of the house.
There was a Springfield Police cruiser on the scene including several fire trucks.
News Center 7 has contacted the Springfield Fire Department regarding injuries and the estimated cost of damages from the fire.
