Police on the scene told News Center 7 that the bus was picking up students at the Gem City Mobile Home Park when a car hit it in the front driver’s side wheel area.
The car that reportedly hit the bus ended up hitting a mobile home in the park, our News Center 7 crew at the scene reported.
Kettering City Schools confirmed that the bus involved was transporting students to Southdale Elementary, which is a K-5 building.
Minor injuries were reported to students and the bus driver.
“Injuries did not require transport to the hospital, however our School nurse followed up with the students when they arrived at school and parents were notified,” a district spokesperson said.
