SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE @7:30 p.m.
Several officers responded to a Springfield neighborhood Sunday night.

Officers and medics responded to initial reports of a stabbing on S. Limestone Street around 6:30 p.m., according to a Springfield Police Dispatch sergeant.

News Center 7′s Malik Patterson went to the scene. He found there was no stabbing.
He spoke with Springfield Police dispatchers. They told him that it was a domestic dispute on S. Fountain Avenue.
The incident remains under investigation.
