UPDATE: 1 remains in serious condition after crash causes car to hit pedestrian

MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 11:30 a.m.:

One person remains in serious condition after a crash Friday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. a red pick-up truck and a white sedan collided at the intersection of North Springboro Pike and Martins Drive, according to Miamisburg Police Department.

The crash caused the red pickup truck to travel off the roadway, hitting a pedestrian.

Three people were taken to area hospitals, two have since been released. One remains in critical condition Saturday, according to police.

Springboro Pike was closed at Miamisburg Centerville Road and Mall Woods Road until around 7:30 p.m.

911 calls News Center 7 obtained through a public records request depicted the scene just after that crash happened.

“Everyone is like panicking, blood everywhere.” One 911 caller described seeing a man’s “bloodied up” face.

“He was basically hit by the front of the car,“ one woman told dispatchers. “He’s bleeding in his ear... his face is all messed up.”

The crash remains under investigation.
