Then in October, Honda announced the company will be investing $4.2 billion into electric vehicle (EV) production in Ohio, including a new EV battery plant.

Part of that investment went to the Anna Engine Plant located north of Sidney in Shelby County. Representatives say engines for the new Accords will be made at the Anna Engine plant.
The Accord was the first car made at the Marysville Auto Plant 40 years ago when Honda first started making cars in the U.S., according to representatives from Honda.
