WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Ohio National Guard announced Wednesday that they will send the 323rd Military Police Company to Washington, D.C.
The approximately 150 Guard members will be there to assist federal and District of Columbia authorities to enforce security, protect lives, and preserve critical infrastructure.
This news comes after 1,000 Ohio guard members were deployed to Washington for the presidential inauguration earlier this month.
All members deployed had returned to Ohio.
