CLEVELAND — A Northeast Ohio rapper was killed in a shooting at an apartment complex.

Carlos Banks, known by his stage name KashBankx, died in the shooting, WOIO reported.

Cleveland police said officers were called out to investigate a person shot around 4 a.m. on Sunday in the Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the 28-year-old rapper shot multiple times inside an apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Banks had amassed thousands of followers with his rap career.
It has not been confirmed if anyone has been arrested in connection to the shooting, WOIO reported.
The case remains under investigation.
