Ohio school paraprofessional arrested on rape charge

SANDUSKY COUNTY — A paraprofessional at an Ohio school district was arrested on a rape charge.

45-year-old Christin Coble, a paraprofessional at the Woodmore Local School District will be arraigned on a single felony count of rape Wednesday morning, CBS affiliate WTOL-11 reported.

Coble is being held in Sandusky County Jail, according to jail records.

Woodmore schools Superintendent Mary Schaeffer said in a statement that Coble was also placed on administrative leave “pending investigation.”

Schaeffer’s full statement is below:

Christin Coble is employed by the Woodmore Local School District as a paraprofessional. This morning, I placed Ms. Coble on administrative leave pending an investigation. While the District cannot comment on an ongoing investigation, the District’s primary concern is always the safety and well-being of its students.
