Ohio State national championship t-shirts being made in Miami Valley

PIQUA — The Ohio State Buckeyes took down the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the College Football National Championship Monday night.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, Atlantis Sportswear in Piqua is one of the print shops that is helping get national championship shirts into the hands of fans all over the state.

With a final score of 34 to 23, the Buckeyes won against the Fighting Irish in Atlanta, Georgia, and the excitement is still rolling.

The staff at Atlantis came in at 11 p.m. Monday night and have been busy since the clock hit zero on the Buckeye victory to create 25,000 shirts.

Many of these shirts are going to Costco locations all over the state, including in Columbus and Centerville, staff told News Center 7′s Mason Fletcher.

Shipments of the shirts were sent out at 4 a.m. and another will be sent at 8 a.m. so Buckeye fans can get a hold of these shirts almost as soon as the stores open.

News Center 7 previously reported that Atlantis Sportswear helped print 25,000 shirts honoring the 2024 Superbowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs in the span of a 12-hour shift after the game.
