Ohio Task Force 1 members left Alabama Wednesday morning heading toward Florida to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

The 35-person team spent Monday and Tuesday participating in training, according to a post on its Facebook page.

“Medical Team Manager, Dr. Nicholas Kman, conducted emergency first aid review with the team and members participated in hands-on exercises with updated GPS equipment. All members continue to prepare for work in the hurricane’s area of impact,” the post said.
