Hannah Freeman, a 27-year-old North Ridgeville City School District teacher, was arrested last month and indicted on theft, burglary, and menacing by stalking charges. She appeared in court on Friday morning and pleaded not guilty to the charges, WOIO in Cleveland reported.

Freeman was arrested following two incidents with her ex-boyfriend. Westlake police wrote in a report obtained by WKYC and WOIO that they responded to an apartment on reports of theft on Nov. 6.

The victim told police that Freeman went into his car and stole two backpacks, which held two computers and his wallet.

The victim also told police that Freeman had been showing up unexpectedly at his home, his parent’s home, and his job over the last six months.
