Many Ohioans are planning to file their taxes online this year and they are also worried their personal data could be breached when doing so, according to a new survey from PCMag.
Thirty-seven percent of Ohioans surveyed said they will use online tax software and 37% also said they worry it could allow scammers to snag their Social Security numbers, birth date address, and more.

"Tax season in 2019 could be a real perfect storm for scammers, and filers will have to pay particular attention this year," said Max Eddy, PCMag security analyst, in a news release.
