3 hurt after car hits pole in Clark County rollover crash

CLARK COUNTY — UPDATE @ 10:06 a.m.:

Three males were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover crash ended with a car striking a utility pole.

The pole reportedly broke in half as a result of the crash.

Battin Howell Road was closed, but should be reopened within the hour, said Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers.

Troopers have not determined what caused the crash.

INITIAL REPORT:

A vehicle reportedly crashed into a pole on Battin Howell Road and there are initial emergency dispatch reports of multiple people hurt.

The crash was reported around 9:15 a.m. in the 7600 block of Battin Howell.

Initial emergency dispatch reports indicated as many as three people may be hurt.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be investigating the crash.

It’s unclear if the crash is blocking the road.
