WARREN COUNTY — An OVI checkpoint was operated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, in partnership with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Friday in Warren County.
The sobriety checkpoint was held on Butler Warren Road in Deerfield Township from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., OSHP said in a media release.

Lieutenant Matt Schmenk of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post reported that 409 motorists went through the checkpoint and two drivers were arrested for OVI.
In the wake of the recent drunk driving incidents in Warren County, the Highway Patrol and Warren County Sheriff’s Office urge you to plan and designate a driver before drinking.
