OSHP Springfield post to celebrate 90th anniversary

SPRINGFIELD — This Friday the Springfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol will hold an open house to celebrate its 90th anniversary.

Members of the community are invited to meet Patrol personnel, including troopers, dispatchers, and professional staff on April 14.

From 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., attendees can tour the facility and ask questions to learn about employment opportunities with the patrol. There will be an on-site recruiter for application assistance and queries.

In celebration of its 90th anniversary, the Patrol has teamed up with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio to raise awareness among families about this no-cost book initiative for Ohio’s youngest students.

Parton’s library mails children one book each month until their fifth birthday at no cost to families.
