Troopers were told that the semi was hauling 50,000 pounds of eggs, said Sgt. Chris Colbert.

The semi has to be unloaded before it can be turned back over.

Colbert said he expects it to take three to fours hours for the scene to clear.

The Interstate 70 east ramp to Interstate 75 ramp is open on the shoulder, but I-70 is seeing some slowdowns.

Colbert asked that motorists pay attention and watch out for stopped traffic.
