XENIA — An OVI checkpoint will be held in Xenia tonight on Main Street near Orange Street.
The sobriety checkpoint will be from 8 to 10 p.m. and will be conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol along with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Xenia Police Division.

There also will be saturation patrols in the area, according to the patrol.
State law requires OVI checkpoint time and locations to be announced ahead of time.
The checkpoint and saturation patrols are to help deter and catch impaired drivers and prevent impaired-driving injuries and deadly crashes.
Anyone who plans to consume alcohol should make other travel arrangements.
