MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Montgomery County OVI Task Force released the results for their sobriety checkpoint in Dayton Friday night.
The checkpoint was on State Route 48, in Montgomery County. Police started enforcement at the checkpoint at 7:00 p.m., police announced in a press release Friday morning.

There were 222 vehicles that went through the checkpoint, the police department said.
During the checkpoint, there were 2 drivers without licenses or whose license was suspended.
One citation was issued for a child safety seat violation, and one arrest was made for a felony warrant.
Police also made three arrests on warrants.
There was also a saturation patrol, which led to five OVI arrests, and two citations issued for people driving without a driver’s license, police reported.
Two additional citations were issued for seatbelt violations.
State law requires OVI checkpoint times and locations to be announced in advance.
