Pair facing drug, child endangering charges after search warrant

CLARK COUNTY — Two people were arrested on drug and endangering children charges after suspected fentanyl and drug trafficking equipment was were found in their home during a search warrant.

Equan Anderson, 31, and Asia Renee Powell, 25, were taken into custody after the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Vice & Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant at 300 Lincoln Park Circle.

A substantial amount of suspected fentanyl and drug trafficking equipment and materials were seized, and two minor children were found to be residing in the home. The children had direct contract with the illegal drugs and drug trafficking activities, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anderson and Powell were booked into the Clark County Jail on charges of trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, permitting drug abuse and multiple felony counts of endangering children. Their arraignment is set for Friday morning.
