MIAMI TOWNSHIP — A 27-year-old woman is dead after being hit by a car in Montgomery County Friday night, according to a spokesperson from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on I-675 North in Miami Township around 10:57 p.m.

A preliminary investigation found that a 24-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord on I-675 North at the time of the crash.
The spokesperson said the driver hit Vanessa Martinez, 27, of Atlus, Oklahoma.
Martinez was in the left lane of I-675 when the crash occurred.
She was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver of the Honda was not hurt.
This crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Dayton Post.
