DAYTON — A repossession agent was shot while repossessing a vehicle in Dayton Wednesday morning.
Police were dispatched to the 100 block of South McGee Street shortly after 8:45 a.m., according to Dayton Police Sgt. Michael Beane.
A repossession agent was in the process of repossessing a vehicle when he was shot, Beane said.

The worker already had the car hooked up when a person who lives in the house and is related to the owner came out of the home and fired shots at the agent.
The victim drove to the 5000 block of North Dixie Drive and was later transported by medics to an area hospital for their injuries, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
The victim was shot in the arm and has a non-life-threatening injury, Beane said.
A house across the street was also hit during the incident, but no other injuries have been reported.
The suspect is in custody at this time.
