ADAMS COUNTY, Ohio — One person is dead after a twin-engine plane crashed in Adams County on Monday, our media partner WCPO-9 TV reported.

A Cessna 310 crashed in a wooded area near Savage Road in Bratton Township around 3:30 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The FAA said the pilot was the only person on board.
According to WCPO-9, the NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide further updates.
