TROY — A Piqua man pleaded not guilty Monday to a felony indictment accusing him of throwing a bodily substance at a Miami County corrections officer while jailed in May.

Christopher D. Ridenour, 33, was indicted in October by a county grand jury on one count of harassment by an inmate.

The indictment charges Ridenour in an alleged May 7 incident.

Bail was set at $2,500 cash or surety, in county Common Pleas Court.

A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 13.
