The Piqua Public Library, 116 W. High St., will host a meet and greet with local animal shelters today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
They will host animals from the Miami County Animal Shelter and from the Shelby County Animal Shelter from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Two local TNR (trap, neuter, return) groups, Calico TNR from Springfield and Cat Advocates of Troy, will be on-site to share information about the importance of neutering cats.
Dr. Ken from Tipp City Veterinary Hospital will also be there to present a special Pet Chat at 1:30 p.m. on bringing new pets home.
Registration isn’t require, and this event is to learn more about adoptable animals, local shelters and TNR groups.
