Piqua WIC office closing, services to be transferred to Troy

PIQUA — Miami County Public Health has announced the closing of its Piqua WIC site.

The site located in the Piqua Salvation Army will be closing June 15, according to a social media post.

All families who use that office will be transferred to the Troy clinic in the Hobart Center for County Government.

The Troy office is open Monday through Thursday and every other Friday from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-4:30 p.m, according to the post.

Officials did not provide a reason for the closing of the Piqua location.
