Police ask for help identifying suspects in shooting near Dayton bus stop

DAYTON — Police are asking for the public’s help after one person was injured in a shooting near a Dayton bus stop Friday.

On Nov. 4, around 3:30 p.m. crews were called to East Third Street and North Jefferson Street to reports of a shooting.

Crews were able to get to the scene in less than a minute.

When they arrived they found a woman, 20, had been hit by gunfire.

The woman was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A nearby business at 123 East Third Street and a parked car were also hit by gunfire, according to a release.

The Dayton Police Department is asking anyone who might have information about this incident or can identify anyone in the pictures to please contact 937-333-1232 where they can speak with a detective.
