1 arrested during welfare check at Trotwood apartments

TROTWOOD — At least one person was arrested while officers were responding to a welfare check at a Trotwood apartment complex on Sunday, according to a Trotwood police officer on scene.

Trotwood police were called to 5580 Autumn Leaf Drive for a welfare check at approximately 12:24 p.m.

Initial reports indicate a signal 99, or a county-wide call for assistance, was dropped.

The officer said Trotwood crews did not issue this signal, but dispatch might have.

Additional information was not immediately available.
