Three area police departments are working to determine whether connections exist between a January robbery assault and a deadly December home invasion.
Similarities between the Jan. 7 robbery assault on Thunderbird Lane in West Carrollton and the December invasion at an apartment on North First Street in Miamisburg prompted detectives to check for possible connections, Miamisburg police Sgt. Jeff Muncy said Wednesday.

Miamisburg police said they also have been working with Dayton police on the North First Street homicide.
No arrests have been made in the fatal shooting of Noah Kinser.
Two arrests have been made in the robbery assault that left two people injured, police said.
