Police collect donations for food pantry helping Beavercreek students

BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek Police Department collected food for the community this weekend at their “Feed the Creek” food drive.

Officers were at Kroger on Dayton-Xenia Road Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. collecting non-perishable food items.

In a social media post, the department said they were able to fill their jeep and the back of a pickup truck with items.

Feed the Creek provides food to 23 “little pantries” across Beavercreek which help students facing food insecurity.
