Man critically injured after stabbing related to neighbor dispute in Dayton

DAYTON — One man is hurt and another is in police custody after a stabbing in Dayton Sunday evening, according to Dayton Police Sergeant Raymond Dine.

At approximately 10:06 p.m., police and medics were dispatched to the 500 block of Deeds Avenue.

Dine told News Center 7′s Malik Patterson this stabbing stemmed from a neighbor dispute that turned into a fight.

The victim is in critical condition and has been transported to the hospital.

Dine said police arrested the suspect for felonious assault. The suspect’s identity was not immediately available.
