DAYTON — Police are investigating after a Dayton Fire Station was reportedly hit by gunfire Sunday morning.

Dayton police responded to reports of a shooting into a habitation at Fire Station 16, 4111 Kings Highway, just before 9 a.m., according to a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor.

News Center 7 crews saw a window that appeared to have a hole in it. It is unclear if this damage was caused by the reported gunfire.
