1 taken to hospital after shooting in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 2 p.m.:

One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Dayton Sunday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m. Dayton police and medics were called to the 3300 block of West Second Street for reports of a man shot in the alley, according to initial reports.

A sergeant with Montgomery County Regional Dispatch confirmed that one person was taken to the hospital.

In a 911 call obtained by News Center 7, a woman tells dispatchers that she saw multiple boys firing shots into her neighbor’s back porch.
