DAYTON — Dayton police were called to investigate a shooting after a man and woman arrived at a hospital suffering from gunshot wounds early Thursday morning.

Officers were called to Miami Valley Hospital around 2 a.m. after the two victims arrived in a private vehicle suffering from the injuries, according to dispatch records.
The man had suffered life-threatening injuries and the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to dispatch records.
Police were able to connect the two shooting victims to a ShotSpotter call received around 1:55 a.m. in the 1000 block of Harvard Boulevard.
Additional details about the investigation were not immediately available.
