"He came in quick, pulled (the gun) out and said he was paying a bill," said the caller, who told the emergency operator he and a customer were the only ones in the store when the gunman walked in Wednesday afternoon.
The gunman ordered the customer to the floor and told the person not to speak, then made the employee take all the cash from the register.
The operator lauded the employee for being so calm after having a gun pointed at him. No shots were fired and neither the employee nor the customer were injured in the robbery.
He also took at least three cell phones, the employee said, noting the invader "looked like he couldn't decide what to grab."
The robber stuffed the phones down his pants and up his shirt and left on foot with the cash, the employee told the operator.
According to the employee, the gunman walked south on Gettysburg, headed toward Third Street.
