DAYTON — Police are investigating a reported stabbing in Dayton early Thursday morning.

Around 3:15 a.m. officers and medics were dispatched to the 1800 block of Emerson Ave in Dayton on reports of a stabbing.

The victim was reportedly stabbed in the eye, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant.
It is unclear if the stabbing took place in the 1800 block of Emerson Ave or if it occurred at a separate location.
