3 in custody after chase ends in crash in Clark County; 1 flown to hospital

CLARK COUNTY — Three people are in custody after a pursuit in Clark County Monday morning.

Emergency crews were called to respond to the area of Fairfield Pike and Garrison Road after a vehicle involved in a chase crashed, according to a spokesperson for Springfield Police Department.

Police believe the car was stolen from the 400 block of Race Street in Springfield.

Four people were inside the vehicle that officers were pursuing, but only three have been taken into custody.

One of the suspects was flown to the hospital by medical helicopter.

Additional details have not been released.

Springfield police are continuing to investigate the chase and any additional charges.

The crash is under investigation by Ohio State Highway Patrol.
