The man fled north on foot in front of the store, then traveled west behind Sunoco, dropping his jacket and the empty cash drawer. He then got on a bike and pedaled  west on Free Pike into Trotwood to Englewood Avenue, where an employee lost sight of him.

Witnesses told police the man was 6 foot and had a thin build. He was wearing a blue flat billed hat, black Carhartt jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes, the release read.

Deputies and surrounding jurisdictions, along with a K9, searched the area, but couldn’t locate the robber.

The robbery is still under investigation by the Special Investigations Unit of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
