Police pursuit ends in Huber Heights

UPDATE @ 5:24 a.m.:

A silver sedan that crashed on Kitridge Road Saturday morning was reported stolen out of Dayton, said Officer Isaiah Ballard of the Enon Police Department.

The vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash and foot pursuit in Huber Heights began in the 90 block of North Xenia Drive in Enon around 3 a.m., Ballard said.

Enon police attempted to initiate a normal traffic stop, but the car would not pull over.

Dayton, Riverside, Huber Heights and Fairborn police assisted with the incident, Ballard said.

It’s not known how many suspects were in the vehicle.

UPDATE @ 5:02 a.m.:

K-9 units were used to track the suspects after the crash, but lost the scent because of rain, according to Huber Heights dispatchers.

Police are still looking for the suspects but perimeters are no longer active, according to dispatchers.

The vehicle involved in the crash has been towed.

Perimeters have been set up and a foot chase is active after a vehicle crashed during a pursuit in Huber Heights.

The crash happened at Kitridge Road at Bellefontaine Road after 3 a.m.

The police pursuit started in Enon early Saturday morning, according to Clark County dispatchers.

We are working to learn why the vehicle was fleeing police.

Multiple agencies are assisting with the foot chase that began in Clark County.

Police cruisers were seen using spot lights in the area of Brandt Pike near Needmore Road.
