UPDATE: Road closed while crews repair power lines following crash in Greene County

SUGARCREEK TWP. — UPDATE @ 6:45 a.m.

A Greene County road is closed while crews repair power lines following a crash early Wednesday morning.

Officers and medics were dispatched around 5:02 a.m. to the intersection of Centerville and Waynesville Road in Sugarcreek Township on initial reports of a crash.

Dispatchers tell News Center 7 that Centerville Road is closed between Waynesville Road and Penewit Road while AES crews make repairs.

As many as 137 AES customers were out of power in Greene County, according to its outage map.

The number has dropped to 49 as of 7:55 a.m.

Power lines are down following a crash in Greene County Wednesday morning.

Officers and medics were dispatched around 5:02 a.m. to the intersection of Centerville Road and Waynesville Road in Sugarcreek Township on initial reports of a crash, dispatchers told News Center 7.

Power lines are down in the area following the crash.

AES Ohio is reporting over 137 Greene County customers are without power, according to its outage map.

The impacted areas are in Spring Valley on State Route 725 and US 42. There are reported outages in the Bellbrook area east of State Route 725.
