GREENE COUNTY — More than 1,600 AES Ohio customers were without power Thursday night, according to the utility’s online outage map.

As of 1:30 a.m. the outage map shows power has been restored to the area affected.

At 10:15 p.m., the map showed an estimated 1,667 customers without power.

Outages were first reported just after 9:30 p.m., according to the online map.

Our newsroom received a report about an outage in the neighborhood near the Fairfield Commons Mall at about 9:50 p.m.

Twenty-one other outages were reported in Montgomery County.
