Preble County and Wayne County, IN. will participate in an exercise on August 8 to test their emergency response teams and first responders skills at handling hazardous material spills, as well as communication between departments.

The exercise will take place in Union County Co-op and will include fire departments and Emergency Management from both counties, hazardous materials response teams from Richmond Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services from Richmond Fire, Reid Health and Redline.
Vantage Point Consulting, a business that assists in emergency training for companies, planned the exercise and will conduct it.
