Monday night’s visit was Trump’s second trip to Ohio in less than two weeks.

“Early voting in Ohio is underway now. It goes through Sunday, November 1st. So get out and vote, and if you have to, you do it November 3rd. I don’t care how you do it,” Trump said.

Up to this point, the state of Ohio said more than 170,000 people have already voted.

Trump cited the Biden administration for high costs.

“I inherited the highest prices and the worst inflation,” Trump said.

AAA said across Ohio, gas prices are higher now than before the president took office.

Monday night, they are almost $3.90 as well.

On the topic of immigration, the president focused on Springfield’s Haitian community.

The Department of Homeland Security revoked their Temporary Protected Status this summer.

“All of a sudden they dropped 35,000 in from Haiti and it didn’t work out too well. I remember during the debate I said some of the things they were doing, I was right,” Trump said.

But Springfield leaders previously told News Center 7 claims of immigrants involved in widespread crimes were not credible.

Trump defended his strict immigration enforcement Monday night.

“In the past 17 months, this is a record. Zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States. You are safe. And in two years, we achieved the largest drop in violent crime ever recorded,” Trump said.

The FBI’s annual crime report said this was true.

During the rally, the president urged people to go vote.
