ZANESVILLE — Production of Mikesell’s is already underway in Zanesville, this comes just a day after Conn’s Potato Chip Company announced they have bought the company.

A social media post by Conn’s Tuesday morning showed the company’s employees holding up the first bag of Mikesell’s chips off the line of the Zanesville plant.

Mikesell’s announced that they would be closing their doors on Feb. 1. In a statement, a spokesperson said the company intended to “transition all Mikesell’s brand and IP rights to another quality snack food manufacturer.”

On Monday, Conn’s announced they were that buyer.
