DAYTON — Get tested for HIV and you could be eligible for a $10 gift card, courtesy of Public Health - Dayton and Montgomery County.
PHDMC will be holding an HIV testing event Friday at the Charles R. Drew Health Center in Dayton from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

PHDMC said the testing event is in recognition of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
Women and girls make up almost a quarter of the million Americans diagnosed with HIV, according to PHDMC.
Wear red shoes to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and PHDMC said you could receive an additional gift.

The test will be a rapid HIV test that gives results in around 20 minutes.
You must be 13 years or older to be tested.
