MIAMI VALLEY — The Miami Valley will end the year on a wet note and start 2025 on a chilly one.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Morando is TRACKING the TIMING of this rain this morning on News Center 7 Daybreak starting at 4:25 a.m.

Showers will increase throughout the morning hours and roads will be wet throughout the day, according to Morando.
Highs will reach the upper 40s for New Year’s Eve.
Morando says colder air moves in tonight and will allow for a change to snow showers. Lows will fall to near freezing.
There is a chance of snow showers on New Year’s Day, and it will turn colder by the end of the week.
