Man found dead in Riverside home, son jailed

The son of a man found dead inside a Riverside home Sunday morning is in jail on suspicion of murder, according to jail records.

David Streeter, 30, was taken into custody at the Riverside Police station Sunday afternoon. He has not been formally charged.

The arrest came several hours after police found Donald Streeter, 69, dead inside the house in the 5400 block of Robinwood Avenue.

Law enforcement believes a possible assault occurred at the home and they contacted the Riverside police department investigations section and obtained a search warrant for the residence, according to Riverside police.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was called in to assist Riverside Police with the investigation.
