Crews were called Tuesday afternoon after a body was found in the river.

Officials said it was too soon in the investigation to determine if the death was accidental or suspicious. The cause of death and identity of the person will be determined by the Greene County Coroner’s Office, a Miami Twp., Greene County fire official said.

Chief Altman has said it doesn't appear that the body had been in the water for a long period.

He left open the suggestion that the person could have fallen into the water while hiking.
