Video obtained by this news outlet shows a person running from a trailer after a suspicious fire on Dayton Avenue in Springfield.

The video shows a person, who neither police or fire investigators have identified as a suspect, carry a gas can inside the trailer and run away after an explosion.

Investigators did say the fire is considered suspicious and no injuries were reported.
The fire caused damage to the entire interior of the trailer, Springfield Fire Captain Jeff Powell said.
Items collected as evidence will be sent to a lab for evaluation, Powell said.
Fire investigators will work with police to examine all evidence, including video footage.
Initial reports to firefighters indicate the fire was started by someone throwing Molotov cocktails, however, investigators have found no evidence the explosive device was used.

Multiple crews continue to investigate on Dayton Avenue in Springfield after at least one fire was started by someone who reportedly threw Molotov cocktails.
Investigators have placed crime scene tape up in the 400 block of Dayton Avenue and have collected several items in bags, likely evidence for a criminal investigation.
Initial reports indicate a possible suspect in the incident left the scene and suffered burns. It is unknown if police have located a suspect or if anyone suffered injuries in the incident.

Police and fire units have responded to at least one fire reportedly started by someone throwing Molotov cocktails in Springfield, according to initial reports.
Firefighters were first dispatched to the 400 block of Dayton Avenue around 7:20 a.m. on reports of someone throwing Molotov cocktails, a device that uses alcohol or other flammable liquid to quickly spread fire.
Fire crews extinguished a fire that was reported in a food truck trailer parked in a nearby parking lot, according to emergency scanner traffic.
Reports indicate one person, possibly a suspect, left the scene and might have suffered burns.
