The second shooting happened in the 1200 block of West Grand Avenue in Dayton just before 1 a.m. Monday.

Emergency crews who were dispatched to scene found a male victim who was alert and conscious, said Dayton Police Sgt. Chad Knedler. The victim refused treatment and the scene, and instead wanted to drive himself to the hospital.

Victim knows the suspect who shot him, Knedler said.
