The victim, only identified as a man, was shot around 1:30 a.m. but refused help and didn’t call 911, Streck said. The person who called 911 was another person requesting deputies check the welfare of a man who might be injured in the house, investigators said.
The man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital Friday afternoon for treatment.
The victim has not been cooperative with investigators, Streck said.
